Udayapur Rauta Pokhari

Rauta Pokhari is a historical religious and natural beautiful tourism water resource village region. It is located in Rautamai rural municipality. Udayapur dist. Sagarmatha zone. Province No. 1, Nepal.

Rauta Pokhari has situated at the height of about 2000 ft above the sea level. 23.8 km.  distance from Udayapur district headquarter Gaighat to Rauta Pokhari. Rauta Pokhari has one of the beautiful pond. which the pond is surrounded by evergreen tall forest. This pond Since long years ago miracle truth is that pond never dry and never over flow the water. A single leaf is found dropped in the water as the birds are always seen to take away the leaves fallen on its to surface. There, Since long years ago people worship to the pond and people trust to the pond. People who follow they message that pond has truth of power. Specially those people who follow Hindus animism.

This pond looks always clean water. There is no allow to through any kinds of things. There is a temple beside of pond but temple has no roof only wall has surrounded. Many people are used to go to Rauta Pokhari to whorship the god and take peaceful rest, enjoy with beautiful mountain views. Every new year of first day when a large fair is organized to this place.

Udaypur district Headquarter of  Gaighat to Rauta Pokhari public transportation and private vehicles can reach it takes 4 hours because road is not gravel and should be take care to drive.
