Chandragiri Cable Car is Popular cable car ride tourism place of Nepal. This Place has been located in Chandragiri Municipality, Thankot, Kathmandu, Nepal. Its a gondola lift transportation system. This Cable car has been started from on 2016, the Chandragiri Cable Car runs from Thankot to Chandragiri hills. The 2.4 km (9,095 ft) line has two stations. The cable car system consists of 38 gondolas that can carry 1,000 people per hour.

Chandragiri hill is positioned at about 7 (Seven) Kilometers away from Thankot on the southwest of the Capital City Kathmandu Valley and lies at an altitude of 2540m above sea level. If you want be free from the polluted for a day, then Chandragiri hill is one of the perfect destination way to be in. It is a new destination for day trip inside the valley. High altitude Peaks and breath taking view of the whole Capital City Kathmandu Valley covered by green flora makes Chandragiri a perfect landscape. On reaching Thankot, Chandragiri can be reached vie Cable Car, Driving or trekking. tikckets for Cable car are available at Godam Chaur near Thankot. The Cable Car route is around 2.5 km and it takes around 9 to 14 minutes depending on the wind speed on cable car. It is easy, Thrilling and fun-filled experience exploring in the cable car. The cable car is expected to serve thousands of more visitors per day. Specially Saturday a week holiday time have more people visit on. The stations of cable car provide full facilities of food, restaurant and bars.
